help! type44 squirrly on the road with front snow tires

Yes, that is similar what happened to me. '78 Scirocco new tires in
front, not so new in rear. Hydroplaned and spun around at around 60
mph - I had no control and was going backwards not losing speed very
fast. Steering doesn't work too good when you are going backwards that
fast.
Again, I retract what I said earlier. Definately go with four matching
tires.
