LM002 was V10 Touareg...

IIRC at some initial stage of the design of the HUMMER there was some
connection between Lamborghini and AM General (the company making the
HUMMER).

If you look carefully at both of them they even share some mechanical and
visible similarities.

But I would prefer an LM002 over a HUMMER. My experience with the later was
disappointing. Excessive fuel consumption (and it was a diesel), no go,
extremely slow top speed and VERY heavy resulting in 3 punctured tyres over
a thorny bush covered area where even standard passenger cars have passed
without a problem. Most disappointing though was the complete failure of the
"no spare wheel system automatic inflation system" which quite simply blew
up after 10 minutes of operation.
As for the tyres with the 50 miles capability of operating flat they simply
disintergrated into pieces.
Only good thing with the HUMMER was that it was able to take us through
Syrian checkpoints in Lebanon without even having to open the window to show
our faces.

On the other hand the LM002 is simply outstanding both in performance, looks
and especially its engine's sound (which is a detuned version of the
Countach one so as to have better torque characteristics)
