100 blown fuse

Thanks to the at least 2 people that suggested I look at the rear cigarette lighter as the cause of an occasional blown #8 fuse on my 1993-1995 100.
I opened it up this weekend (following the Heynes manual), and it was pretty straight forward. Although I could not see any damage to the lighter
socket, I proved it was to blame by blowing a fuse as I plugged in the wiring.
So I simply put it all together again leaving the rear lighter disconnected. Now it also doesn't light up with the instrumentation lamps, but that's
not the driver's concern!
