Be careful of statistics here - the 10% "loss" of group "X" does not
necessarily mean they left town.

1980 census: 50% group "Y", 50% group "X", population 1,000,000

1990 census: 60% group "Y", 40% group "X" - immediate conclusion is there
are 10% more "Y"s and 10% fewer "X"s - but the missing part is the new
total population.

If the new total population is 1,500,000, in fact there are MORE "X"s in
town than ten years ago (100,000 more, in fact), but a quick look seems to
indicate the "X"s are losing ground - and they are not - just more "Y"s are
moving in than "X"s.

Between our cars and our legislators, we have enough troubles, and we
shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves, too. ;-)

Diversity is what makes this country great - almost everyone who is here is
from "somewhere else", but we are all Americans.
