The flywheel doesn't "bolt" to the transmission, so NO,  the only thing the flywheel is really attached to is the crank.  The 7A/01A flywheel uses a sealed pilot bearing in the flywheel, the 016 used a needle bearing in the end of the crank, so in an 016 application, the sealed bearing will be removed out of the 01A flywheel so the 016 input shaft can pass through the FW and into the crank as its supposed to.  Then, any of the clutch plates should work fine to make engagement work, I'd probably use the 01A PP, but you might want to experiment to see which works better.
