Have you checked that the distributor is timed correctly? If you get it
off kilter, the "window" of the cam reference sensor (in the
distributor) won't cover the pulse from the reference sensor on the
crank. When that happens, the ECU will throw a fault. The bently has a
procedure for aligning the distributor. Pretty easy to do.
