O2 O 2 Sensor info solder splice joint

Just to add to what I said earlier.
Rod never told me about anything about the air being vented through a wire.
He simply explained there was another sensor where you had to get a
different harness and you could not adapt it to the current wiring.  I am
agreeing with Javad that it most likely isn't going through a wire.  If
anything, the ambient temp is most likely sampled from the exposed metal or
possibly one of the exposed splicing wires.  Sorry for any confusion.  There
is definitely another type of O2 sensor like the one toolphille mentioned
out there.
