Oh, come on. A sensor that has to sample the exhaust rapidly (that's
what the usual failure mode is, not reacting quickly enough) is going
to breathe fresh air THROUGH the wire? Quickly? Have you been in
contact with someone from Nigeria? (scam central these days)
Even if it does breathe through the wire -- how the does it matter
where the source of fresh air is. If it sucks air from the original
crimped on end, or from the crimped on splice. It's never going to
come from the ECU as originally posted, there's a connector on the
firewall that is nowhere near the ECU. Next thing you're going to tell
us is that it's timing is calibrated to the length of wire from the
factory. ;-)
