How do I crank over my 1993 S4 without starting it?

Can't pull the FPR- the engine would still run for around a second.

If you mean -turn- it over, then you need to put a socket on the
crank bolt and turn it over that way, but it's a -big- bolt.  Don't
worry about breaking it loose- torque spec is somewhere around 350
ft. lb, breaking torque is probably much higher.
