Steve:
I didn't see a reply to this yet so here goes.
I think the answer is no. My brother has an '89 200Q with what I believe
are ET35 wheels (aftermarket 5 spoke wheels - I think ATP - A4 5 spoke
knockoffs, but I believe a different offset than the stock A4 wheels). The
wheels are shod with 205/55/16's and there was interference with the rear
fender lips. Pulling out on the fenders slightly cured the problem in his
case, but it would be more severe with 225's. Not to say that it isn't
possible to correct, but there will likely be at least some interference
initially. A better bet would probably be to go with ET45 wheels, but the
225's could then create a problem with rubbing on the inside (no knowledge
of this - just a possibility).

For those with experience with the early 200q's, will 225/50-16's on 16 x 7,
+35 wheels fit without interference?
Thanks,
Steve
