rear end oil capacity

I just changed the rear end oil in my 86 5kcsq last night, and was wondering
if i put the right amount of oil in, i put in 2 quarts which was what came
out when i drained it, but a couldn't feel the oil level with my finger, but
i attribute that to have the car parked on an incline so that i could slide
under the rear end. so, since just under 2 quarts came out, and i put 2
quarts in, is that enough? btw i put in mobil 1 in the rear end and redline
in the trans/center diff.
