engine mounts, how to?

Car: 1989 90 quattro.
Engine: Stock 2.3L 10V

Engine mounts:  One nut on top of mount.  Two nuts bottom of mount.

HOW THE HECK do you get a tool in there to remove the top mount!?!  WHAT kind
of tool should I be using??

I can't seem to fit anything in there...and I could certianly use some ideas
from someone who's BTDT.
