[V8] V8 and 200q20v difference

I drive both although the V8 principally is my wife's car and the 200q20v
is mine.  I consider the V8 a great cruiser,  but I miss the clutch and
gear choice options when I'm not on the expressway.   I know I could play
with the V8 shift lever, but the reported history of transmission problems
makes me hesitant to do so.  If I had a 5-speed (or the 6-speed) V8, I'm
sure I'd prefer that to the 200.  The 200 is a bit more "raw", and I'm old
enough to appreciate the cushiness of the V8.
