[A4] mesh grill in engine bay near windshield

Hi all,

In my 98.5 A4 1.8TQ I understand there is supposed to be a plastic mesh
grill in the engine bay near the windshield that covers the area around the
battery, ECU, brake fluid reservoir, etc. that keeps leaves and stuff out of
there.

Well, my used vehicle doesn't have one, waaaaaaaaaaah! :-) I know it's
probably near useless, but I don't feel complete without one. You know how
Audi owners are :-)

The parts departments I have been dealing with are clueless. Could someone
with an A4 of similar vintage please look on theirs and provide me with a
part no? And, as the manual also makes no mention of this part, I also need
to know if any fasteners are needed and generally how it mounts up.
