> The dealer wanted an outrageous $100 for that little rod! Yikes! So, is there anyone out there who had a 2.3 NG engine and did a turbo conversion who is willing to sell me the rod?
I just checked, part number 893 907 415 (there is also an "A" version
after some VIN starting with 8A?) lists for $40.95
Still a bit rough, but not as bad.
You could try one of the dealers that caters to our crowd, like Carlson,
I think. Hopefully some contact info will be on the audifans vendor
list. You might even get a discount!

The part need is the little metal rod that goes from the vacuum diaphragm for the cruise control to the ball on the top of the throttle body. I already bought one off a 1986 4kQ, but it had the 2.2 engine, and the rod is much too long. I need one of an NG engine... Anyone have one for sale? Know where I can get one cheap? The stealer..err.. I mean dealer wants WAY too much...
