$2500 is what he told me for the whole job- is it less?

In any case I drove the car this evening - and liked the way it drove. It
accelerated very smoothly, however, there was a little bit of rumble in the
exhaust.  don't know - i know my 89 200 had the center muffler replaced.

interior was nice with rear heated seats and very nice leather over that of
my '89 200 however, the dashboard and center console was the same.

light switch on headlights has gone bad causing me to use only the high
beams.  as well as burnt out lights on the accessories - defroster. rear
defroster did not work.

body is pearl white and in very good shape. very clean and was impressed
with the updated loo of the v8 engine as opposed to the mess under the hood
of my 200 turbo.

Going to call audi for the full service report on all audi work done on the
car. Found a recall letter in the car/ owner manual that talks about
replacing the timing belt after 60k . perhaps, this has been done.

I'll let you know what I find out.
