Family Album vs Win 2K Pro Woes

FA ran fine on Win 98 system. Dell XPS T450

Upgraded to Win2K pro . . . this is not a clean Win2k install.

Followed archive instructions for running on Win2K :
1) copy all the CD ET_PROG.NT4 files except the *.INI files to  C:\EPC_PROG

2) copy CD's ET_PROG.W95\LEXHDL5.DLL  to  C:\EPC_PROG

It dont work. I get error msg "Hardlock not present"(code 304). I tried
running hardlock.exe from the cd first, then running etka . .like the
installation hint at the very end suggests. That doesnt work either . . same
error msg.

Anybody got a solution? Before I shoot myself.
