Yes, Audi does, for starters... that is the 20v coupe wheel's
dimensions. Have a set on my '89 90Q, with lowering springs and 205/50
tires, no problems at all.

> Well, I've decided that I really like those 90Q 5 spoke S4 style wheels. But someone pointed out that they have a et37 offset, and the stock Coupe GT wheels have a et45 offset. The stock alloys for the CGT are 14" and these are 15". So, will they work properly? Rubbing? Will they look goofy? How will the offset change affect the looks of the wheels on the car? Tucked in deeper, stick out more than stock?

They'll fit, they'll stick out a bit more, and "in" a tiny bit as well.
They fill the wheel well better.

One thing I've noticed with both cars (my 82 coupe/89 90Q), remembering
they also both have lower springs, is that the wider track width due to
less offset (and also due to wider tires - 205 or 215) causes more
"tramlining," or following of grooves in the pavement.

The steering feel changes as well - for good and bad at the same time.
It is "twitchier," which translates to more responsive (good), but a
little more demanding of attention (bad, if you're sleeping) to keep
everything pointed down the road properly.

the coupe rear rubs a bit on bumps with two adults in the rear, which is
very rare for me.
