engine mounts, how to?

you will 17mm long socket, preferably 3/8 drive, including extensions and at
least 1 universal.  i used a deep 17mm spanner from the front to loosen the
nut, and then used a stahlwillie "bendy" extension (about 10cm long) to
access the nut from above.  this worked fine, provided that the bendy
extension doesn't have to overcome too much torque.  alternatively, as huw
suggests, use a combination of extensions and universals, you can't (on the
20vt) get access from above using this method, but you can from the side.
