Squealing Alternator

Once again I have a squeeeealing alternator. Low RPMS, especially after
the car is nice and warm. e.g. when I come to stop sign, voltage dips to
12v instead of 14.1v and kind of hovers there. Sometimes, it'll correct
itself and jump back up, but more so, when I rev up upon launch, it just
squeeeeeals until about 2k rpm.

Now here's the dumb question: is this the belt, or is it the bearings?
I'll have it all apart this weekend for a tbelt/h2o pump, but wanna know
if I need to get new bearings to do that too.
