Bought the V8

Well I brought back to my office. And found that the fuel pump is going.
same thing when i bought the 200/ there is an audible whirl coming from
the rear tire well. how do you know when it's going to fail.
Is this something I can replace or should I have a mecic do it.
, I know you get to it on my 200 it was found in the boot.
