While on the subject, and since I've also become a bit
scared reading the Bella Coola story (thanks for it and
best of luck to you Stephane--you seem to be a man of
extreme patience), I wanted to ask a question...how loud
can a dying fuel pump be? When I turn my key and the
dashboard system lights come on I can hear a bit of a
whirl from back yonder near the fp. Is this normal or
should I be expecting a failure anytime soon?

Thanks for any input I can receive...I certainly
wouldn't want to get stuck in Bela Coola next time I'm
up there in the dark although I now know of all the hot
spots to hit.
