Cheapo V8 light look...

One of my co-workers tints taillights. He paints them with a mix of clear
coat and just a little black. The more coats the darker the tint. The lights
are still very visible  when they are on. He uses standard automotive paint
and they come out very nice. When I get some taillights for my 4k that don't
have cracks in them I'm going to have him tint them, probably have him do my
Passat as well.

Or you can pick this up in red or smoked.  That's what I'm planning on doing
to my 100Q.  Put in the 200 rear center panel, and smoke them with tinted
vinyl.
