light grounding issues / Happy Birthday Augustus

hmm, this is interesting. I have found a shop in Westmont, Illinois who
specializes in older audi's - and their electrical eccentricities.
I would still like to talk to others who have gone to Randy at Midtex in
Plainfield, Illinois. He's just too far.
we will be going over among things, the fuel pump and the electrical switch
situation.
at this point i have had any time to try using the Progold due to work. I
hope to have some time this weekend on on of our balmy February days here in
Chicago.
the license plate bulbs were burnt out, but reading this thread has me
thinking of the aftermarket radio that was put in in the last 5 years.
perhaps, something was done with the relay when the head unit was
replaced.
in the interum if i get the trunk light to work - is this light separate
from the other lights or do i have the chance that light will remain on
indefinitely - if its on the same circuit as the other door switches.
btw - You'll all be happy that I've named my car Agustus. Named after August
Horch. Wish him a Happy 122k Birthday.
