I am sure several people have chipped V8's. I am thinking of doing that. I
know for a fact that Keith (from Audiconnection) has a chip (or had) in his,
and he has very specific opinions about which chips work, and which don't.

I am the one who has been seeking the V8 spoiler for a long time. Nobody
seems to have any information. I would expect that our European friends
would know more about this one than anyone else. Take a look at either the
DTM edition:
http://home.arcor.de/bmaj.roesner/html/ed1.htm
or the Treser spoiler:
http://home.arcor.de/bmaj.roesner/etres200.htm
http://home.arcor.de/bmaj.roesner/etres5k.htm
OK, now you and everyone else can probably guess that I personally would
*never* put the Treser parts on *my* Audi, but the DTM... DEFIANTLY! But I
don't know where to find one. I am pretty sure that both Zender and Kameii
used to make a similar spoiler. Of course any spoiler that fits any of the
Type 44 (5000 / 100 / 200 / V8) style body would fit the V8. It's just a
matter of where one might find a good remaining example.
Someone posted a nice looking rear spoiler on the marketplace just about 2
weeks ago. Check it out.
