Lock your cruise and an indicated speed and time yourself for 5 miles using
the mile markers on the interstate. Calculate your average speed from that
and find out accurate your speedometer really is.

Mine too, the discrepency is 5mph. Unfortunately the CHP tend to use
pacing to give tickets instead of radar, so I'm still not sure which
is correct. I would suspect that they made the computer's speed more
accurate since this info is used to calculate how much further you
can go on a tank. At least I hope they did.
