Coupe GT spedometer problems

I was having electical problems with the instrument cluster in my 86 Coupe.=
  I replaced it with one I had out of a 874kcstq.  It seems that it reads h=
igher than it should.  Is there a difference in gear ratios somewhere that =
would cause this.
