V8 Chips

Keith, is it hard to install the ecu.  and temporarily, what i like to do -
in times of need - is to use the sport mode to accelerate the v8 up to 3rd
gear - and then switch back to economy.  will this switching do funny things
to the tranny?

obviously, it would be great if an ecu from one of these 2 companies could
provide even acceleration of the Ecomony with the speed of acceleration I
sense with the Sport Mode.
