Huw, It's the fact that upon fitting the correct stalk that they failed to
test the system afterwards, that's what really ticked me off. I would think
the hose has become ruptured with age/use, the good news is that I took the
car back yesterday and they replaced the broken horn pad membrane and
refitted the loose steering column cowling properly.
They've also offered to repair/replace my hose and have offered to valet my
car after complaining about monkey boy working without a seat cover.
So I would have to say I'm a bit happier than before about they're service.
I also insisted that monkey boy never works on the car again, and asked that
the senoir tech does all future work for me.
Regards,
Robert.

That's the part I don't get. Is the hose from the pump to the nozzle
broken or something? Did they even work in that area? Was that what
was wrong with your switches, no rear wipe/wash? The hose prolly died
years ago, if that was the case.
