Bad Drivetrain Vibration / Noise

I had to replace the front CV on my 4kq. While I had it out I replaced the
center support bearing as well. Start to finish took me about 4 months, of
course the work was only a few hours but I got side tracked for a while.
While the drive shaft sat on the garage floor waiting for me to reinstall it
I just locked the center diff and had a front wheel drive 4kq.

Thanks
Jim

I am starting to lean pretty heavily towards the front CV being bad on my
transmission to rear end driveshaft. Can anyone tell me if this has ever
been a problem for them or is this a part that *never* fails or is it
reasonable to suspect it at 157,000 miles.

Thanks

clacking. I am going to try the mounts and if that helps, but doesn't cure
it then I will also do the CV's on the shaft, if that doesn't do it then
 it's the center carrier bearings.

 Good Luck!
