Cool new Audi commercial

    Actually, I think this article has alot of good points.  First I want to
say that the Ad Campaigns he talks about touch me, as it must touch so many
other Audi enthusiasts.  A blast from the past, what made Audi unique.  They
also have that appeal to promote to the uneducated buyer that Audi has
history and a glorious one at that.  And isn't that who we're trying to
reach after all?

    Second, I have to say that the uneducated buyer is the majority auto
buyer, and he does negate the Audi enthusiast in his article from being
included in that group.  In the view of the uneducated buyer, AWD is AWD
whether it's Audi, the new BMW CI series, Jags new X type (I'm keeping my
eye on these two specifically), as well as the many other cars now offering
AWD systems.  In this respect I do think his views are accurate.  They may
sting us a little for being the Masochists we are for sticking with our
Audis, but none the less, they are accurate.

    Otherwise I beleive that the article is a well informed peice and paints
Audi in a favourable yet misunderstood light.  The underdog fighting in a
battle we should be winning because of our "unfair advantage" that we are
quickly losing to the other companies.

Good points...if it's 1988!!  He obviously doesn't read much car literature
where independent editors review audis against said brands, as well as other
technilogical....why am I arguing this?
