Phil,
Your email bounces MIME formatted posts. FYI, all my aol posts come that
way, so I stopped responding to you directly over a year ago... No
question these might be private postings, but you have indicated by MIME
filter, and many former list laundered private posts, that you don't hold
much favor for them. If you have now changed your mindset on either of the
above, please advise.
WRT your procedure, I'd apologize for "shaking" my stick at it, but even
looking at it from a "laywrench" perspective, you added a lot of unnecessary
procedures.
Some would consider a thanks or specific questions on methods to come to a
"better" and consensus on this common procedure to save time AND money (r =
high). I'm not compelled to do this procedure "your" way, and only presented
points from a well heeled btdt perspective. Ruffling of your feathers really
isn't my concern, nor is my motivation more than sharing/evaluating for free,
procedures I normally charge quite well for.
My mistake?
And you're welcome.

That particular piece has had more 'peer review' than you can shake a
stick at. Luminaries such as Martyn Parker and Roger Galvin have
commented at length. It was designed to be followed by people who
don't necessarily know anything about fuel injection or standard
workshop procedures.
It was very carefully designed for its target audience after a great
deal of thought.
I can't understand your problem - no one is forcing _you_ to use it.
I knew you'd pick up on it, though, just as I expected you to post the
last reply in public. Maybe you ought to examine your motives - you
don't come across to listers in a very favourable light.
