> I took my dash apart to figure out why one panel (digital dash on 87.5 CGT) wouldn't light. I got it out an noticed 3 BIG problems. There were 3 lights that had completely fallen out Yikes! I'm hoping someone has a diagram and can help me figure out what does what.
>
> 1 that fell out was the backlight for the right hand panel. I knew where that went and put it back in (thanks for this list's help). But the 2 others, I'm not sure where they belong. One has a white L shaped socket and has a blue&black wire and a green&bown wire.

that's the upshift indicator light.

> The second one that was just hanging loose in the dash was a black straight socket. The light comes on when the ignition is turned on and it stays on until the engine is started. It has a black&white wire and a lime green&pinkish-red wire. Can anyone tell me where this one goes?

All the black/white wires I can find seem to be associated with the left
side turn signal, but there are no green/red wires or external lamps
shown near these. White/black is left high beam wire, also the high
beam indicator signal to the dash. Again, no green/red wires or
external lamps.

> There were several (something like 4) open slots on the back of the dash for lights...

there usually are unused bulb positions... looking thru them at a light
source can help identify what they were for. So can the car's owners
manual. You might want to track down a Bentley for the 84-87 coupe/4kq,
it has these schematics in them.
