Big time center diff problems

Another thing to consider is a hosed CV joint, or an improperly
connected joint. If any 1 axle is not properly connected, or functioning
properly then you will get 0 movement, and some odd noises from the axle
shaft flailing around. Has someone poked their head under to hood to
confirm exactly where the noises are coming from? Did you remember to
fully reconnect the two front axle shafts and the center driveshaft?

Other than that, I'm at a loss, other than internal failure of either
the front or rear diff.
