Speaking of Kurbin, Motodyne, Eurodyne, or whatever he's calling it this
week, I noticed on the website this....

"Underdrive Pulleys
Pulley sets can provide gains of 8 to 15 HP and 6 to 10 ft.-lbs. on normally
aspirated engines and 10 to 18 HP and 10 to 20 ft.-lbs. on forced induction
engines."

Now I'm no expert (I just pretend to be one sometimes ;) but an alternator
on a naturally aspirated motor takes the same amount of power to turn as the
same alternator on a turbo'ed motor! The parasitic losses come from the
devices being turned (water pump, A/C compressor, alternator) and I know for
a fact these accessories don't give a damn what type of motor (turbo or N/A)
they are attached to, they take away the same amount of power regardless,
which means turning the at X slower speed will give you the same amount of
power regardless of turbo or N/A.
Funny what some people come up with.....
