How in god's name does one get to the bolt that unlocks the PS pump
for adjustment? As usual, the Bentley is completely unhelpful.
"Loosen B, adjust A"...yeah, no $h!t sherlock...

I've tried a regular closed wrench, got about half a degree movement;
not enough room between the metal pipe on the left, and the
coolant/duct guard on the right. Tried all sorts of different combos
of extensions and elbows etc., but could not clear the radiator.
Tried moving the duct; no such luck, it would require removing two
coolant hoses...

Further, how is the adjustment mechanism supposed to get the thing
tight? It only looks like a way to keep the pump down, not pull it
up to tension it...?

(who is now convinced that it is impossible to get anything done on
this car aside from changing the oil and has decided that probably
the most efficient way to get repairs done is to drop the motor every
25,000 miles or so, do -everything- that needs to be done in one fell
swoop, clean it up, and put it back in.)
