Euro lenses only?

Robert,

I tend to think that while the mirror quality helps, it is the improved
light source and most of all improved light distribution/focusing, or the
light pattern, that makes the Euro lights better.

Why?

Its not the lenses that make the Euro lights better its the REFLECTORS.  The
US spec lights have a plastic coated reflector that is basically just CRAP.
The Euro spec reflectors are metal with a mirrored coating that is MUCH
better.

A couple of comments and threads lately have got me wondering..

Can I buy only Euro lenses (not the whole light assembly) and 'bodge' them
onto my DOT housings?  I'm pretty good at 'bodging'  ;)
