I checked www.vwvortex.com. Nothing.

Two things seem fishy right away:

>Rorhl is being reunited with his 1987 Pikes Peak-winning Audi running in
the SCCA's
>Open class.

It would seem unlikely Audi would race an '87 model in today's rallys.
Group B cars, which is the Ur-Quattro category, have been outlawed in world
rallys. Audi would use a modern S4 or the up-coming new coupe to promote
its current line-up.

>The Pikes Peak car is rumored to be running over 900 hp and features
>a massive wing to create the downforce needed to keep it hooked up. With a
>compressed air bottle keeping the turbos spooled up the altitude of the
Appalachian mountains
>won't be a problem.

The old Pike's Peak car had a giant wing, yes, and it was rated at "uber
sechs hundert pferdstarken", or over 600 HP. What's this about a compressed
air bottle???? Where did the extra 50% power come from?

Sounds like someone's imagination is running away.

Chris.
