To answer the question who takes their SUV off-road,
if I had one, I would.
I did some light offroading with my old Pathfinder and was
all set to add some really heavy duty skid plating (it already
had quite a bit), a heavy-duty set of bumpers and a winch
when I realized that I like on-road driving a lot more than
off-road.
Had I gone through with the plan, I'd be driving a Pathfinder
with a Kennesaw Mountain winch bumper, a Warn 10,000 lb. winch,
manual Warn premium hubs, ARB air lockers front and rear,
rear disc brake conversion, Bilstein shocks, Old Man Emu springs
and lots of other cool toys.
I was also thinking about how to acquire military epoxy paint-
the flat finish stuff that is damn near indestructible.
I'd take a Defender 90 offroad- that's what they're made for.
