Learned something new tonight...

So I've got the car up on four axle stands in the garage..the engine is being
supported by a fifth axle stand while the epoxy dries in the mounts. Tomorrow
is finish the 'outside' of the car, and then move into the interior. I had to
pull my custom dash panel and my instrument cluster for tomorrow morning.
Now, my car no longer uses the key to start...it's flip some switches and push
a button...
Well...here's the lesson I learned:
Whenever the engine has no mounts, and is hanging free...disconnect the battery!
As I was pulling the panel it slipped down...left hand flipped the correct
switches up...and the right hand tried to catch the panel by, you guessed it,
the starter button! Shut it down before it ran on more then one revolution of
the crank...and, thankfully, it was in neutral.
I could hear the engine jump off the axle stand...
It messed up the 'super delicate don't touch me' downpipe to cat junction...
Adding 'fix exhaust leak' to my list for tomorrow!
I just wish you all could have all been there to see the look on my face...
