100CSq cooling fan stays on

Hi all,

Found out that the cooling fan in the 92 100CSq is staying on any time the
ignition is turned on.  I let the car cool down for about 3-4 hours and
went out to try it again.  Once I turned the key I could hear the cooling
fan come on full blast.  The AC compressor did come on during the drive.
It was in the mid 50's in Boston today.

 I did a search on the Audifans site and tunred up a few possibilities
thermoswitch, resistor pack, and relay.  What is the proper
troubleshooting procedure for the 12V V6 or does anybody have a
BTDT on this?
