What are my chances with a dissection of a CGT Digital Dash?

The speedo went kaput. First it went to a constant 5 mph, then total black.

No, it is not the bulb. The other 2 work and it tested them in the speedo
place. I even turn it on with a flashlight in the back, with no success.

No, it is not the sensor. It will light up with 0 mph.

It seems to me that our long time friend Rusty is there.

So, what you all think about open the plastic case (i.e. hack service) and
try to clean the circuits?

Tach/Gas/Temp work, but we all know that this thing stinks, especially after
one known failure (speedo).

The second option is to ditch the digi-dash, and put new gauges($$$).

Does anybody have a VDO tach fixed to 5 cyl? and

Does anybody knows the Ohms range of the gas and temp senders on the top of
your head?

ps. Thanks, but I rulled out buying a used digi-dash, and get this problem
all over again.
