First thing I would check (after what you already have) is to crawl under and
look at the condition of the floor boards/wheel wells on that side of the car.
Possibly a hole has opened up allowing road water to splash up from underneath.
(plenty of experience with this one and old VW beetles)
If you can't see any holes, the next step would be to go for the highest
priced 'touchless' automatic car wash. The high priced ones usually include a
rockerpanel blast and an undercar blast.
Ensure your trim is on tight before attempting :-)
