rear diff drain plug removal

Mine NEVER came out.  I had the diff out of the car.
I tried impacts, impact drivers, a can of Kroil, heat,
welding, etc.  I finally just emptied it through the
fill plug.  It's the only fastner I can ever remember
NOT being able to remove.
