wet carpet in the 4kq

This may be an extremely remote possibility, and it is contingent upon you
living in a warm climate where you are likely to run you air conditioner.  I
was also having intermittant floods in my 87.5 Coupe.  I would find puddles
in/on the rear passenger side carpet.  Couldn't sync the sogginess to rain,
car washes or anything.  It only seem to happen in the hottest weather when
the humidity was up.  What I finally found was that the drain-tube for the
AC condensation collection pan under the dash had fallen out.  So instead of
draining through the tube and out the bottom of the car, the water was
collecting under the carpet and flowing to the back because the car was
parked on a sloping driveway.
