Duncan,

I definitely recommend the Koni adj with the shorter shaft if you are
lowering. Mine are basically set at about 80% stiff, I love the ride and
handling on the street, at the track I go full stiff. For the money by far
the best struts. I'm not a big liker of Bilsteins (others will swear
differently about them) BTDT and IMO, but you've got my full reccomendation
for the Konis.

<< Hi List,

Anybody have any experience / comments to make on Koni Sports on a coupe
 quattro...
4 options listed for front shocks: externally adjustable or not, and suited
 for lowered or standard springs...

I just got some B&G springs which will apparently lower it by 1.5"... so I
assume I should get the lower shocks...
It specifies 50mm rebound for these ones, which doesn't seem like a lot...
of course it may match the springs I have, but I won't know until I have
 fitted them...

Is it worth getting the externally adjustables? Sounds like it would be
nice to be able to soften the ride up for gravel / loose metal roads, and
tighten it for the smooth stuff... but don't know how much effect this will
have given that the spring rate will obviously remain constant...?
What is the typical price difference?

 Thanks for any feedback...

 cheers
