You'll need to first develop a suitable upgrade beyond what's already

done, then program the ECU appropriately. If APR is not the answer and

don't like MTM's option, you're basically solo in developing your own
upgrade.

How do you figure on developing a custom engine management system for
less
money than what's available currently? Isn't dyno and programming time
pretty expensive, or do you have facilities at your disposal?

I'm not trying to burst your bubble, I'm just intrigued with what you're
getting at. For street use, I don't think a 400hp 1.8T would be very
practical.
