Rear bench connections

The rear seats on the type 44 have a metal plate that requires someone to be
sitting on them for them to start. The front passenger seat is controlled
by the switch up front not by weight. When you have someone in the rear
seat, then the rear seats heat up because the plates are compressed
together.
I'll take a peek at my wagon tonight and email you again tomorrow with some
more details.

If you turn on the seat heater in the passenger side front seat, the seat
heats up without sitting on it. when i turn on the rear heaters the leather
is still cold. are you saying that there is some contact that a laden seat
makes that an unladen one doesn't ?? I ould swear that I had heat in the
rear before tilting up the bench.
what are the red, yellow and blue connectors attached to the bench.
