No back-up lights

The four pin connector going to the tranny switches is often implicated
in reverse light flakiness.  You should find it near the engine/tranny
junction, low on the drivers side.  It might just need cleaning (and a
little dielectric goo to keep it that way)

Now that's a whole 'nother can of worms.  Put them on hooks and see if
they turn into a kettle of fish...
