"Bosch rebuild"

A lot of times Bosch will sell new items as a reman unit. When LH jetronic
fuel injection was starting; Bosch sold new air mass meters as reman units
to get the cores back. That helped them build up a bank of units to reman
and also kept them off the market that other electrical rebuilders rely on.
They kept the core charge high enough as an incentive to get the old cores
back.
Most alt and starters that I get as Bosch reman are reman units.
Sometimessome fuel injection components will be new but sold as reman parts.
